However, There is still no special thesis for Yao Feng Pan’s horror films. In this study, 21 Yao Feng Pan's horror movies are sampled. From the horror symbol and character design, the metaphor of castration anxiety is discussed. Through mise-en-scene and plot arrangement, the animism viewpoint is expressed. And then, explain how it established the uncanny horror style with human defamiliarization effects. According to the study findings, Yao Feng Pan was in a dilemma between "Empathizing woman" and "Misogyny" during his creation ; Yao Feng Pan's horror films showed the "Humanism"; and brought the audience an horror of "cognitive ambiguity."
