Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 土木工程學系所 === 106 === A successful interior designer’s expertise is in creating comfortable and practical living space concepts, and in being able to successfully convey their concepts to their clients. How designers present their design is key. Historically, interior designers presented their ideas using two-dimensional (2D) drawings, but the advent of Computer Aided Design (CAD) technology makes 2D practically redundant. Three-dimensional (3D) animation via CAD is a more effective means for presenting comprehensive concepts. All simulations in the study were conducted in SketchUp, and demonstrated using SketchUp Dynamic Component. In order to improve design workflow, this study has focused on five basic elements (“Behaviors”): (1) Material, (2) Scale, (3) Hidden, (4) on-Click, (5) Copies. Designers would save time when learning 3D animation if they used the method shown in this study.
