Hence, this study presents a developed procedure to characterize the viscoelastic and visco-damage properties for decoupling the linear viscoelastic (LVE), nonlinear viscoelastic (NVE), and visco-damage (VD) behaviors of asphalt mixtures, that based on the Schapery’s nonlinear viscoelastic model and the continuum damage mechanics. The systematical procedure analyzes the LVE parameters and NVE Prony series coefficients from the result of the dynamic modulus test (DMT) and the repeated creep and recovery test (RCRT). Numerical algorithms are implemented using Matlab code to simulate the behavior of the linear and nonlinear viscoelastic to predict the damage response of asphalt mixtures. Furthermore, the Matlab code is validated by comparing its predictions with experimental data. Finally, the significant enhancement of this study is to describe the behavior of visco-damage by using viscoelastic Prony series. 黃添坤 2018 學位論文 ; thesis 47 en_US
