Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 水土保持學系所 === 106 === The Tamsui River Sewerage System is the largest sewage treatment system in Northern Taiwan. The treatment scope includes Taipei City and the two near areas, which have a population of 6.5 million, of which about 4.6 million people are served by this system, and the sewage collection area is about 20,000 hectares. Since the sewage treated by the system facilities is discharged into the Tamsui River and the Taiwan Strait, the focus of this study is whether the artificial facilities affect the environmental and ecological changes. The overall data analysis in recent years includes the air quality and vibration in the land. The environmental impact is slight, and the water quality of the water has limited impact on the environmental quality near the discharge. No matter the heavy metals in the river area and the plants and biological ecology in the water, it has nothing to do with the discharge of sewage. According to the data of BOD,DO and RPI, in recent years, the upper and middle reaches of the Tamsui River have recovered from moderate pollution to slightly polluted, and the lower reaches of the river have returned to the non-polluted river section. From the above results, it can be expected that the environmental quality of the discharge area of the system will not be changed due to the operation of the system.
