Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 園藝學系所 === 106 === Lilium brownii F.E. Brown ex Miellez is distributed mainly in three habitats of Kinmen County(the bare stone and path habitat beside the Granite hospital, Kinmen botanical garden, and Taiwu mountain). In 2015, we conducted a plant survey in Kinmen and recorded approximately 2300 plants of L. brownii in addition, 15 flowering plants with different flower colors and plant type were selected from the habitats. Another 5 plants were selected from the Kinmen botanical garden and 10 from the Granite hospital. These plants were then cross-bred to obtain hybrid offspring follow the crossing combination. In addition, mature green fruits from wild plants were acquired to nurse 10000 seedlings through in vitro seed germination, and vermiculite stratification, of which 20 plants(NPS) with fa-vorable growth were transferred to Taichung. Then, there are six of them show stem emergence in second growth season. After the first time selection, seedlings were screened and then propagated in vitro and preservation, followed by a second screening based on the seedling conditions. Next, a third screening was conducted by evaluating the in vitro scale regeneration. Finally, the screened seedlings were cross-bred to obtained L104-002-28 and L104-011-16 with robust seedling growth and favorable regeneration. Regarding plant breeding by natural fruiting, NPS-11 with excellent stem emergence and NPS-13 with favorable root regeneration and healthy bulbs during the seedling stage were selected. The conditions of these four offspring will be continually monitored to cultivate desirable offspring.
