Autonomous vehicles can improve the safety of transportation, reduce the accidents which caused by human error, solve the congestion and parking problems and enhance driving performance. As the driver assistance system is so important to autonomous vehicle, the system reliability is top required for the users. However, the using experience in advance driver assistance system absolutely effects the acceptance of autonomous vehicles during the transformation process. This study is based on the perception and experience of using advanced driver assistance systems by satisfaction and service & display quality to verify the impact on the acceptance of autonomous vehicles in the future. Autonomous vehicles can help to optimize time and resource management and make life more convenient and flexible. The consumers might feel regret if they do not use it. However, there are many uncertainties to convert from traditional driving to self-driving. Using and not using of perceived risks will affect the acceptance of autonomous vehicles. Therefore, this study added the perceived risks of using and not using as mediation variables to see the impacts on the acceptance of autonomous vehicles based on the technology acceptance model (TAM). 394 valid surveys were collected and analyzed by the structural equation model to verify the relationships in all constructs. The empirical results indicate that the perceived reliability of advanced driver assistance systems significantly affects satisfaction, service and quality. Both perceived risks of using and not using can mediate the perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness, and effect user’s behavioral intention.
