碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 應用數學系所 === 106 === The purpose of this study is to investigate the learning performance about the subjects of permutation and combination for the first-grade students from one of senior high schools in Taichung. We focus on analyzing their possible types and causes of errors. After gathering relevant references, we consult experienced teachers with questionnaire, and conduct some pretests about the permutation and combination developed by researchers. In this study, we correct a set of valid data derived from the formal tests to analyze the types and causes of errors based on a set of effective samples. We give some conclusions and suggestions from the analyses. This work is expected to provide helpful instructions and further references for senior high school teachers.
