The phenomenon creates distortion in the auto- and cross-correlation functions seen at FO-CDMA receivers and, in turn, worsens system performance. Applying a recently demonstrated semiconductor-optical-amplifier-based tunable dispersion compensator, this thesis formulates a new analytical model to quantify the performance of this kind of FO-CDMA systems, which also support adjustable quality-of-services through a flexible choice of code weight. Computer simulations are performed to validate the new analytical model. Our study shows that the new model is more representative and provides better explanation to the effect of temperature variation to this kind of FO-CDMA systems than the random-shift model. 楊谷章 2018 學位論文 ; thesis 37 en_US
