While long-term standing work is likely to cause musculoskeletal and blood circulation problems in the lower limbs. Long-term sitting work is also likely to cause poor blood circulation in the pelvis and lower limbs, and the problems associated with the compression of the inter-vertebral disc, and the head, neck, shoulders, hands, waist, back are also prone to soreness and paralysis; in addition to affecting the comfort of work, it will also affect the satisfaction of the psychological level, resulting in work efficiency reduced. This study analyzes and improves the commercially available standing desk, using TRIZ theory, 40 invention principles, contradiction matrix and QFD methods to improve, and design a workstation with adjustable standing angle, through the design of the backrest, the body can be tilted back slightly against the backrest, reducing the downward pressure exerted by the body directly on the feet, which can alleviate the problems caused by the long standing work, and can also be used as an option for comfort for a sitting posture worker to switch the working posture to relieve sedentary.
