After comparing the effectiveness of the objective and subjective measurement by contingency analyses, personal background variables, work background variables and job-education mismatch on earning were entered hierarchically to investigate the incremental variances that could account for. The empirical results indicated that the personal background variables, the work background variables and the job-education mismatch all could explained significant variances. Specifically, over-education and under-utilized skill negatively affected earning after controlling for personal background variables and work background variables. Furthermore, the objective measurement is more appropriate than the subjective measurement to evaluate the degree of under-utilized skill. Finally, suggestions for future researchers and government are provided based on the findings. Wei-Ming Luh 陸偉明 2018 學位論文 ; thesis 126 zh-TW
