Based on the theory of Representative Bureaucracy and Core Competences of Civil Service. Due to this, this paper used In-Depth Interview and Questionnaire Survey to investigate the expectation of civil service form Pinuyumayan people,and explore what kind of the competence they are expected and to find out their demand. The results of the study were as follows: 1.Based on the In-Depth Interview, the survey concluded: The Pinuyumayan people expect that public servants should have five core competencies including: executive and practical skills, interpersonal skills, ethics and the characteristic of personality characteristics, demographic characteristics, and cultural competency. 2.Based on the questionnaire survey of the Pinuyumayan people's preferences and influencing factors of the characteristics of public servants. Pinuyumayan people in different traits has different expectations for the core competencies of public servants. The study findings may serve as a guide for further research on Representative Bureaucracy of Taiwanese aborigine ethnic groups and Public Demand. The emphasis of this study set a standard with regard to service qualifications form civil servants who are serve Pinuyumayan people that have to be Pinuyumayan people, Taiwanese aborigine ethnic groups or living in the aboriginal region. In order to achieve the above requirements, suggestions for the national examination for admissions to the Taiwanese aborigine of civil service can take geographic region, ethnic or cultural groups as exam requirements. In addition, Cultural Competency should been bring into induction training for Taiwanese aborigine civil service to make it close to people’s demand. In summary, this paper is to find out what kind of competence of public servant indigenous people expect and give advice to examination or induction training of civil service.
