Most of the past researches that related to LGBT coming-out experiences would set the LGBT children as the research object, rather than parents. Therefore, this study aims to explore the impact of children coming out on their parents. The three research questions: 1. Parent’s psychological state and other affects after knowing their children are out of the closet. 2. The impacts of “Out of the closet” on the parents-child relationship. 3.Parents how to adjust the children have been out of the closet. In an in-depth interviews, invite seven parents who have known their children are LGBT. In a way of in-depth interview, this study invited seven parents who have known their children to participate. In order to respond the three research questions, this study uses the Grounded Theory “spirial model” as the research method to analyze the texts. Results of the study show: 1. Parents infinitely worry about their LGBT children. 2. Children’s coming out is a chance and learning process for their parents to accept their children’s identity. 3. The relationship between parent and children changes from negative to positive during the coming out process. 4. "Double out" as a psychological adjustment strategy.
