Summary:博士 === 國立體育大學 === 競技與教練科學研究所 === 106 === The purpose of this dissertation was to select the tennis-specific fitness and skill testing items (TSFSTI) for Taiwan tennis players. Methods: the domestic and international tennis physical fitness test items were collected and the modified by Delphi method, which was used to choose test items through 15 tennis experts. Three stages were selected testing items by the committee. The 1st stage nine physical fitness components and 96 physical fitness test items were chosen as the data. Nine physical fitness domains were confirmed by the committee in 2nd stage, including muscle strength, muscle endurance, flexibility, upper limb power, lower limb power, speed, agility, anaerobic endurance and aerobic endurance domains. Thirty-six test items were selected as the follow procedure data. Results: The 3rd stage represented as the final results. The TSFSTI testing items were confirmed, including 15 items: 30-sec push-up (muscle power), one-min push-up (muscle endurance), bi-sides shoulder joint flexibility (flexibility), bi-sides and over-head medicine ball throwing (upper limb power), vertical jump (lower limb power), 20-m dash (speed), shuttle run (agility), 5 rounds zig-zag run in tennis courts(anaerobic) and 1600-m run(aerobic). Conclusion: The TSFSTI included 9 physical fitness domains and 15 test items that could be used as tennis coaches who need to evaluate tennis players’ special fitness abilities in Taiwan for the future.
