Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立體育大學 === 運動與健康科學學院 === 107 === Purpose: This research investigate the effects of TRX ( Total body Resistance Exercise ) for 8 week on “Physical Combat Abilities” and “Physical Performance Test” for R.O.C. Army soldiers. Methods: Twenty-six( male : 20, female : 6 ) NCOs ( Noncommissioned Officers ) were recruited as the research subjects. Subjects were randomly assigned into experimental or control group, and there were 13 persons in each group ( male : 10 , female : 3 ). The TRX for the experimental group lasted for 8 weeks, 4 times a week and 50 minutes per session. However, the control group did their training as normal as the general militaries. The training hours for the two groups were the same. Each subjects made the test of “Physical Performance Test”, APFT (Army Physical Fitness Test ) ( 2 minutes push-ups, 2 minutes sit-ups, 2 mile run, pull-ups) , and the combat-skills test ( obstacle beyond, grenade throwing, combat fitness ). Independent t-test was used to compare the differences between the two groups on the test results and trsnsform the date according to the qualification standard. Paired t-test was used to compare date between pre and after training. The significance level was set at p<.05 Results: Experimental group significantly improved in all test variables after training. Control group significantly improved in almost all tests except pull-ups and the grenade throwing. The qualification rates of grenade throwing dropped 8.33% . Control gaiped more improvement in push-ups and sit-ups than the experimental group. After the date transformation, the advantage of control group disappeared. Conclusion TRX could enhance the Army’s physical combat abilities especially in the pull-ups and grenade throwing which need more training skils. It can reduce the training hours which are already in schedule, and there is high acceptance in soldiers. This results of this research could be applied to the future physical combat training of the Army.
