The proposed system can reduce the management complexity and fulfill most lab-level needs on basic computing and networking resources. In addition, it can support the operation of middle-size computer centers. Based on the goodness of cloud computing, the system can increase the resource utilization, lower the overall hardware and human resource investment, reduce the power consumption, and improve the management efficiency. The goals of the system design are to achieve the following specifications. 1. Have the capacity to manage heterogeneous hypervisor systems, including VMware and OpenStack. 2. Integrate with the existed systems 3. Provide hierarchical resource authentication to relieve lab and class management on virtual machines. 4. Provide automatic and customized system configuration and software installation. 5. Support GPU pass-through configuration for virtual machines.
