withbetterperformance. InOLSR,amultipointrelay(MPR)isdesignedtodiscoveranetwork
topology. However,OLSRisinsecure. Onceamaliciousnodeisselectedasamultipointrelay,
themaliciousnodemaycausefalsetopologyandincorrectroutingtable. Inthisthesis,wepro
poseasecureroutingprotocol,OLSR+,tofindatrustedrouteforforwardingpackets. OLSR+is
designedformilitaryfieldsbasedontrustinessandcreditstoprotectnodesinMANETsagainst
sinkholeattacks. AlltheoperationsinOLSR+arebasedontrustinessandcredit,suchasMPR
selection,routingtablecalculationanddatarouting. OLSR+usesthefeedbackfromneighbor
ing nodes to determine the trustiness of each node. We design a PI weight to collect trustiness
fromneighboringnodesandderivecreditofeachnodeaccordingly. OLSR+basesonthecredit
ofnodestoselectmultipointrelaysandcalculateroutingtablestoguaranteecorrecttopologyin
formationandmakesdataroutingsecure. WeconductseveralexperimentstoverifyourOLSR+.
Whenthenumberofmaliciousnodesincreases,thepacketdeliveryratiosofOLSR+canremain
above90%andMPRcorrectratescanremainabove80%. Also,theroutingtablecoveragesin
OLSR+canremainatnearly100%.
