In 2016, the number of SMEs in Taiwan accounted for 97.73% of all enterprises; employment accounted for 78.19% of the total number of employees in the country, both of which hit record highs in recent years. However, the average duration of SMEs in Taiwan is only 13 years. Majority companies in label printing industry are a small and medium-sized. Under the challenges of succession issues and together with the wave of globalization, digital revolution and the trend of environment are friendly and sustainable development, how to successfully take over and continue the family's glory is the key. The purpose of this study is to analyze the correlation between label printing, SMEs, succession and organizational transformation. This is the main motivation for this study. The results of this study as follows: 1. “Most companies in label printing are small and medium-sized enterprises” and “Operational improvement” have positive significant correlation. 2. “Small and medium-sized enterprises are mostly family-owned and the interests of the family are greater than the benefits of the company” and the “Operational improvement” have positive significant correlation. 3. “Conflicts with the previous generation will affect the company’s operations” and the “Operational improvement” have positive significant correlation. 4. “Maintain interpersonal relationship within the company is benefit to succession” and the “Operational improvement” have positive significant correlation. 5. “Senior employee is too conservative to embrace new ideas”and the “Operational improvement” have negative significant correlation.
