Summary:碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 應用化學系碩博士班 === 106 === In this study, we have successfully synthesized several novel phosphors with compositions of Sr8MgA(PO4)7:Eu2+ (A = Al, Ga, In) and Sr8CaX(PO4)7:Eu2+ (X = Y, La, Lu) by using high temperature solid-state reaction method. The crystal structure, luminescence and chromaticity properties of the above phosphors were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), photoluminescence spectra, scanning electron microscope, diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DR) and thermal luminescence quenching investigations. The excitation and reflectance spectra of these phosphors show broad band excitation and absorption in the 250 ~ 450 nm near-ultraviolet region, which is ascribed to the 4f 7 -4f 65d 1 transitions of Eu2+. Therefore, these phosphors meet the application requirements for UV LED chips. Upon excitation at 365 nm, the Sr8MgA(PO4)7:Eu2+ (A = Al, Ga, In) phosphors exhibit strong orange-red emission centered at 625 nm and Sr8CaX(PO4)7:Eu2+ (X = Y, La, Lu) yellow-green emissions at 530 and 535 nm, respectively.
