With the development of science and technology,In addition to traditional light sources , designers have many alternatives that can be used in creative applications , especially LED (Light Emitting Diode) .Generally LED lamps are obviously different in their appearance when compared with traditional lamps and lanterns . This research will take two advantages of the LED features for design : (1) The flexibility of light source. (2) Portability and easy storage. The designs start from functional consideration , and much rely on examining the capability and the feasibility of the prototype . Base on original mechanical structure , it develops three different designs for varies purpose in certain occasions , including : (1) STONE - Mostly following the prototype structure , and add the linguistic vocabulary of rock upon the appearance , and make the body more slim. (2) MUSHROOM - In order to fit in much narrow space , it has been changed the selection of LED bars storage carriers to enhance the flexibility ; Also , the selection of applied LED wave length is revised for different use purpose. (3) SNAIL - The applied LED bar storage carrier is different from the previous , the design of power input is completely different as well . By adding a mechanical timer , We make it much more interesting in appearance and its scenario .
