IP Camera is one of the Internet of Things (IoT) devices that are relatively popular nowadays. The risk of security caused by the IP camera involves the privacy and security issues of individuals or organizations. The impact is also most directly to the common user. This paper uses the IP Camera as an example, by scanning IP Camera application, network and firmware functions to detect the security risks of IP Camera. Based on the scan results, provide some suggestions for common users to prevent or patch these risks, and then hope to achieve the effect of improving the security risk of the device and raising the public security awareness.
