The study parameters included wind speed, wind direction, opening area, and different roofings on the atrium. The experimental results revealed that the wind-driven ventilation rate is proportional to the external wind speed and the opening area, and the louver on the roofing could lessen the ventilation rate. This study also developed a physical model to estimate the ventilation rates of wind- and buoyancy-driven ventilation. When Archimedes number larger than 1, the ventilation rate was mainly dominated by wind-driven ventilation. The results of this study can be used to improve the natural ventilation of buildings with atrium. Chia-Ren Chu 朱佳仁 2018 學位論文 ; thesis 79 zh-TW
