In this thesis, the finite element analysis of the two-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor in the blood pump is carried out. Using the software, ANSYS Maxwell, to finish the magnetic circuit analysis of the motor on two dimension and three dimension. And then the induced electromotive force is obtained on each 2-D and 3-D analysis. It is compared with that by the actual measurement to verify the accuracy of the simulation. In this thesis, a current amplifier is used as the power supply for a two-phase motor drive system. Since the current amplifier can only output a single-phase current to the coil, it changes phase by adding a self-designed phase converter board.
