The Delphi technique was used to conduct panel expert surveys for multiple sequential rounds to identify the core competency indicators. The core competency for the live internet video was constructed into four dimensions, including profession, management, workplace relationship, and personal attitudes. The 14 categories include professional knowledge, professional skill, problem solved, communication, personnel management, teamwork, innovation and resilience, crisis handling, interpersonal relationship, communication and coordination, emotion management, assistance service, working attitude, positive and active attitude, and learning and research. The results showed the 48 important behavioral indicators in the 14 categories under the four dimensions of core competency. Finally, the relative importance of 48 indicators may provide a structured tool for the self-evaluation and the train program of the director of Live Internet video.
