Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 教育研究所 === 106 === The aim of the study was to realize the current situation and differences of the leadership attitude and job satisfaction of counselors, and to explore the relationship of the two in public junior high schools in Taichung City. In this study, data were collected by a questionnaire and the whole population method was used. The sample of the study consisted of 767 teachers in public junior high schools in Taichung City. In all, 648 teachers did respond, yielding a recovery rate of 84.50% (percent) and an available rate of 100% (percent). Descriptive statistics and Pearson’s product-moment correlation had been used to analyze the data in the study, revealing the following conclusions: 1. The leadership attitude of junior high school counselors in Taichung City is belongs to a good extent on in the hierarchical thinking and systemic thinking. 2. Junior high school counselors in Taichung City in the following background variables have a better systemic thinking of the leadership attitude: “male”, “51 years old”, “more than 16 years seniority”, “director of counseling”, “master’s and doctor’s degree (including 40-credic course)”, “tun district”, “private junior high school” and “large schools (49 or more classes )”. 3. Junior high school counselors in Taichung City perception on job satisfaction were in a good situation, especially in the aspect of “interpersonal relationship”. 4. Junior high school counselors in Taichung City in the following background variables betterperception of the job satisfaction: “male”, “51 years old”, “more than 16 years seniority”, “director of counseling”, “general college”, “tun district”, “private junior high school” and “large schools (49 or more classes )”. 5. There was a low positive correlated relationship (r=.31) between “hierarchical thinking” and “job satisfaction”. 6. There was a low positive correlated relationship (r=.25) between “systemic thinking” and “job satisfaction”.
