In SDN, controller always determines handover decision, which cause a large amount of handover delay. To reduce the handover delay, we propose a Foreseen Handover scheme for WLANs on SDN. At first, controller determines the time point of handover based on collected signal data on a fixed route and mobility pattern. Secondly, controller issues handover command in advance in consideration of message transmission delay. We implement the proposed scheme on ODIN-based SDN architecture. Our implementation reduces user interruption and computation to make the system run more smoothly.
