Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 輔導與諮商學系研究所 === 106 === The main purpose of this study is to research the relationship among parent-child communication, parental expectations, and problem solving attitudes of private high schools students in Tainan. Through stratified cluster sampling, 1000 participants of the 7th , 8th , and 9th graders from 5 private high schools students are recruited in Tainan in 2016. The study instrument includes “Parent-Child Communication Scale”, “Parental Expectations Scale”, and “Problem Solving Attitudes Scale”. The data is analyzed by descriptive statistics, independent-sample t test, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson’s correlation analysis and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The valid samples are composed by 944 students (564 boys and 380 girls),and the research results are as follows: 1. The mother-child open-communication is the highest performance about the parent-child communication of private high school students in Tainan. 2. The studying-expectation aspect is the highest performance about the parental expectations of private high school students in Tainan. 3. The recognition orientation aspect is the highest of the problem solving attitudes of private high school students in Tainan. 4. There is a low-positive correlation between parent-child communication and problem solving attitudes. 5. There is a low-positive correlation between parental expectations and problem solving attitudes. 6. It can be predicted 23.5% variation of problem solving attitudes, and the most predictable effect is the mother-child open-communication aspect about parent-child communication . The discussion here is based on the results of the study mentioned above, and can be a reference for teenagers, parents and researchers in this field.
