Summary:碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 教育學系研究所 === 106 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the Job Involvement and Well-Being for Elementary School Teachers of Central Region. This study took “Teacher’s Job Invovlement Scale” and “Short version of the Chinese Happiness Inventory Scale” as measurement tools for collecting data. The population of this study included elementary school teachers of Central Region. This study adopted the the stratified sampling to collect the samples. Totally 495 valid questionnaires were collected. The analysis of the data included mean, standard deviation, t-test, one-way dependent ANOVA, one-way independent ANOVA, Pearson correlation and canonical correlation. The main findings were as follows: 1.The central region elementary school teachers have positive attitude toward job involvement. 2.The central region elementary school teachers have common well-being, especially on “social commitment aspect” is the most positive. 3.Elementary school teachers with different marital status and different numbers of school location have significant differences on the aspect of “overall job involvement”, “job attention” “job evaluation”and “job enjoyment”. 4.The relationship between teacher’s job involvement and well-being showed positive correlation.
