By means of self-consciousness and psychoanalytic aesthetics, author attempts to explore the inner meanings of her own creative mind and to construct the personal subject-matter and feelings through her painting creation. The main purposes of this thesis are as following: 1. To construct the academic foundation through related humanities and aesthetics theories. 2. To create personal painting form and connotation through combining the Surrealist, Expressionist and Abstract Expressionist painting. 3. To explore, clarify and interpret the author’s female self-consciousness, spiritual cultivation and related contexts through analysis of the painting series of this research. The painting series of the research could be divided into the following four series: 1. “Dialogue between Woman and Landscape”, 2. “Female Codes”, 3. “Woman Images”, and 4. “Woman-Flower” series. The academic framework of this painting creation research is shown as following: Chapter 1. To explain the motivations, purposes, the scope, limitations and research methodology of this research. Chapter 2. To explore the theoretical basis of this research, including the related art theories, art schools and the related artists. Chapter 3. To explore the creative concepts, forms, as well as the media, techniques and the evolution of creative process of this research. Chapter 4. To analysize of the artworks of the painting series in terms of concepts and forms. Chapter 5. Conclusion.
