The connotation of Bodhicitta has a double meaning: "aspire to altruism" and "seek to the supreme". That is to say, the aspiraton is the cause, as the guide, at the same time to have the desire of Bodhi corresponding heart. These two views are the most fundamental teaching of Atisha. In Lamrim, Tsongkhapa introduced many scriptures to illustrate the benefits of keeping Bodhicitta to promote the aspiration. The aspiration is brougt on by four helps, four causes and four powers. Throughout the entire practice of "Seven Causalities" in Bodhicitta is worked out by "Great Compassion". Before practicing the Seven Causalities, we must first equalize the livings, then practice in order according to the mother knowing, grace remembering, grace repaying, kindness and compassion, finally with Great Compassion lead to increasing pleasure and aspire the positive Bodhicitta. As to the " Tonglin", we must think through the truth of the ideas and understand the obstacles of the practice. The nature of all lives is equal, I the most love is the first enemy. According to the mindfulness and awareness, "I the most love" can be transferred to "Others the most love "by cognizing all lives having lovely phase, remembering lives’ grace and giving others benevolence. Together with the cultivation of "choice of law", Bodhicitta can be inspired by offering own happiness to all sentient beings and taking sufferings from them. This Bodhicitta's training is a gradual spiritual reform: making the heart soft and strong and inspiring the ability to transfer the original unhappy heart to a happy and helpful one. As the practice matures and deepens, the pain tolerance increases, the compassion grows, and the attitude of life changes from I the most love to others the most love. The troubles will be completely purified and finally "trouble to Bodhi". This is not only for myself, our concern can be extended slowly from family, work, and friends to other circles of people, and even all human life closely related. For the self-life and the pursuit of utilitarian-based society, it creates a positive and valuable significance. HUANG, KUO-CHING SHI, RU-ZHENG 黃國清 釋如證 2017 學位論文 ; thesis 205 zh-TW |
