This study employs data from Taiwan Longitudinal Study on Aging (TLSA) for the years of 1999 and 2003. Owing to religion variable in the regression may be endogenous, we use two-stage predictor substitution (2SPS) to solve the endogeneity problem. The findings of this study are as follows: first, in terms of demographic characteristics, such as male, the higher age, the higher education, the religious, self-perceived wealth with general grade or enough grade, living in city or town, live with relatives and friends were significantly related to successful aging. On the other hand, labor, farmer, living with children or grandchildren were not significantly related to successful aging. Second, in terms of health behavior such as exercise regularly was significantly related to successful aging. Third, in terms of health evaluation, none or mild obstacle of Activities of Daily Living (ADL) was significantly related to successful aging. On the other hand, the more diseases, depression, obstacle of Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) were not significantly related to successful aging.
