碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 運籌管理系碩士專班 === 106 === If supply chain decision maker bases on self-interest to make decision, such as profit maximization, cost minimization or high revenue etc., these might cause excessive obsolete stocks and huge wastes of corporate sources, such as the increase of inventory carrying and managing cost, and could even cause the display in short supply. Furthermore, the sudden urgent need due to the self-interest decision could lead to unnecessary capacity coordination, quality issues, and extra increase of shipment and delivery cost. In the end, customer might switch to other competitors because of longer lead-time of preceding orders. Purpose of the research is to discuss the impact of self-interest behavior to supply chain key members, which is based on TFT-LCD panel technology. The research is analyzed through questionnaires and empirical data and the case study is based on a panel corporation at Southern Taiwan Science Part. We distribute 36 expert questionnaires. The valid recovery rate is 100%. Moreover, we analyze and verify this study by employing SPSS. The result indicates that supply chain members make decision with self-interest behavior would have negative impact on other supply chain members.
