Its method is to evaluate customers’ perception on adjectives for product shapes, so as to obtain the corresponding relationship that presented in product shapes and imagery words. Therefore, it can be helpful for developers, by using “motorcycle stick shapes to consumer preference” as the direction of research, to be more understood customers’ recognition of products, so as to design the products that greatly meet customers’ needs. This Study intended to use customers’ viewpoint to investigate various motorcycle sticker shapes that those stickers can make changes in product preference or not, and the differences with and without having stickers, as well as customer preference for the features of motorcycle sticker. From corresponding analyses, it discovered that factors of increasing the entire perception after having the sticker including: eye-catching, sporty and pleasant; as a result, this Study inferred that the sticker has the eye-catching effect on the performance when sticking on the motorcycle, as well as allow such motorcycle model to increase the pleasant and sporty visual effects. In terms of the eye-catching colors and area occupied, it shall adopt the technique of using large area and changeable colors, which may achieve the presentation of eye-catching effect. In addition, for the composing attribute of aesthetic appeal, it shall use the divisional design technique rather than overlapping and grouping. As per the area occupied; contrarily speaking, smaller areas showed higher levels of aesthetic appeal. In short, these analytic results can be provided to the motorcycle design and manufacturing suppliers as the basis and reference to choose follow-up design strategies of motorcycle body stickers.
