碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 表演藝術碩士學位學程 === 106 === Film has been one of most important entertaining and commutations tool for the past one hundred and more years and creating huge impact on fields of arts, technology and politic. Golden Horse Awards is an award that recognizes excellence in Chinese-language film and has been the most venerable of its kind. This study reviews the historical contexts of practical applications in movie industry in Taiwan, China and Hongkong. And then the research explores current literatures on the integration of cognitive science and digital technology in films and the possibilities to integrate with different areas of expertise. Also, the study discusses the culture issues that Taiwan movie industry would struggles with, and proposes opinions on how to integrate the future needs of film audience. The main research methods are context analysis and qualitative research method. In the perspective of the Sociology of Art, the study reviews and analyzes the literatures of Chinese-language film in 20th and 21st century and films that has been awarded with Golden Horse Awards; then, the research shows the analysis and description and interpretation of the performance of the Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival(TGHFF) with the Chinese-language film data background. Grounded theory of qualitative research was employed for analysis, description and interpretation on what phenomena and meaning the Chinese-language film and TGHFF presents in different time and history background. It concludes as: a) films under political restrictions, b) feature films under colonial assimilation policies, c) social change and films of new era, d) films under wartime. The categorization and analysis of the TGHFF and Chinese-language films deliver a clearer interpretation of development and change in Chinese-language film under colonial time and social change, and what social information’s and meaning that these movie productions try to send.
