碩士 === 國立屏東大學 === 視覺藝術學系碩士班 === 106 === 　　Traveling is the most popular activity in today's society, writing about traveling is also associated with contemporary knowledge; "Photography" has become a convenient and easy way of writing about traveling due to the frequent use of people to record their whereabouts. When opening our Facebook account we can see our friend’s countless ‘selfies’ and photographs. Instagram is forever changing, photographs emerge one after another one with no rest digital images become 0’s and 1’s, with the speed of light our eyes can see every corner of the world through those pictures. This research tries to develop my own way of image writing when traveling. 　　Second part is about the action research method I used when creating my art pictures while traveling. I put myself into traveling to grab the feeling of my journeys, to understand the meaning of traveling, then I use it as an inspiration to create my art work with digital images. I made in depth interviews to some professors, then picked out their important comments and advices in order to upgrade the quality of my creations or the way to make them better. 　　This research 《The picture of journey》 includes the following meaningful findings: First, Traveler's creative motivation can be divided into: spiritual motivation, practical motivation, entertainment motivation and production motivation. Second, current travel photographers constantly try a variety of new imaging methods; they integrate traditional photography and the concept of a new era, through the expression of their own personal points of view and inner landscape. Third, I hope that through the expression of criticism and pondering of my pictures, let people think about ourselves and our relationship with the land we inhabit, to improve people's attitude towards the environment, that is to say, the meaning of traveling can have a deeper dimension.
