The resources of visual images are rich and easy to get. It is very common to see examples for images that are being "re-used". This technique is called "appropriation", which means taking ready-made objects or other’s art works and adapting their texts to make their own works. By appropriating the painting of “The Genesis” which was painted by Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni (1475-1564) in the Sistine Chapel, the author makes the theme with Steven Paul Jobs (1955-2011), the founder of Apple Inc., to create a unique piece of art. The author hopes that my work can be known to everyone, just like the world-famous masterpieces of “Sistine Chapel ceiling”, as well as the far-sighted and extraordinary genius of Steven Jobs. This article is based on the author's creation of the ink painting "Innovation Distinguishes between a Leader and a Follower" in 2011, at that time the author began to research Steven Jobs, as well as the products and people in Apple. By collecting information of Steven Jobs. The author sublimates these information into his own ideas, and creates his own works. God painting and mythology is the theme of this research, the author mixed two elements to explore the creative research: one is Steven Paul Jobs, a god-like person who once lived in this world, and the other is "Sistine Chapel Ceiling", a great painting by Michelangelo. at the Sistine Chapel. The first chapter mainly explains the motivation, purpose, methodology and structure of the creation. The second chapter carries out the academic foundation of anther’s creation. It includes the exploration of the spirit of mythology, the integration of the Chinese religion, Chinese brush painting, and their transformation with modern thinking. The third chapter explains the author's creative thinking and context. The fourth chapter shows the connotation of this study with more details. In the fifth chapter, the author concludes from the whole process of his painting creation, and reflects on his shortcomings during the research, to persuade a more perfect creation in the future.
