Forty six (48) White New Zealand rabbits, 40 days old of age, male and female were used. Before the trial began, weighing their live weight, every machine in order to complete the weight distribution to the control group (diet excluding palm kernel meal). The experimental diets were contained 20 % palmitic kernel meal and 40 % of palm kernel meal. The rabbits were reared in battery cage with individual feeder and drinker. With eight rabbits in each group. The duration of experiment was 8 weeks and 13 weeks. The feed was given weekly and feed intake was recorded daily. Body weight gain, feed conversion, and production cost was recorded at 8 weeks (Test 1). At the end of the experiment, all rabbits in each group were humanely sacrificed, bled immediately, and weighed after sacrifice, to acquire carcass weight after bloodletting and the weight immediately after their fur and head. Internal organs and limbs were separated from the body. Weighing the heart, liver, fillet, leg meat carcasses and other ministries. The fillet was used for analyzing the fleshy color, clipping value, and cooking weight loss (Test 2). The data was analyzed by the general linear model (GLM) variant analysis of ANOVA. The significant differences between means was analyzed by New Duncan’s Multiple Range Test. The results showed that there was no significant difference of using palm kernel meal to substitute alfalfa leaf powder compared to the control group. In the analysis of meat (carcass yield), no significant difference was found in the treatment, while feed containing palm kernel meal showed lower feed cost production compared to the control group. Comprehensive results of this study, 20-40 % of palm kernel meal in did not affect the meat production efficiency, and reduced the cost of the rabbit diet, thereby increasing the revenue of rabbit farming.
