The purpose of this thesis is to know how to choose a suitable venue to hold a concert to increase the concert revenue, base on the result of this analysis. By using the historical box office data from the Pollstar website, the genre attribute data of each performer from the Spotify website, the view count data from Youtube website, and the concert market theory model to conduct the regression analysis to observe the change of average ticket price. Results suggest that the average ticket price of the concert of Blues and Folk is generally higher in US concert market, the average ticket price of the concert of Alternative, Electronic and Hip-Hop is generally lower. The average ticket price of the concert of Country is generally lower in middle US. In addition, it is less suitable for concerts in Kansas, and more suitable for concerts in Nevada for the singer of genre Pop. It is less suitable for concerts in Arkansas for the singer of genre Rock. Chien-Yuan Sher 佘健源 2018 學位論文 ; thesis 105 zh-TW |
