Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中山大學 === 管理學院國際經營管理碩士學程 === 106 === In the recent years, VR and AR have been mentioned in the quite a lot in media and business environment. Thus, many companies are trying to implement VR and AR in their business environment, in order to reduce cost expenditure and increase business performance. In the academic aspect, in the past, there are many studies conducted on virtual and augmented reality, most of these studies try to define and explain the functions of virtual and augmented reality. However, barely any research was mentioned about how to implement VR and AR in the real business world. Thus, this research is aimed to fill this gap, and wish to provide a more comprehensive aspect of VR and AR flexibility to academic research and industry world. This study will explore the field of virtual and augmented reality in the business application and try to answer the question of the feasibility of virtual and augmented reality. In order to get close to the real business world, I also conducted an interview with Hamastar Technology a high-tech company located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. And try to provide leverage for virtual and augmented reality in the real business environment based on Hamastar Technology’s cases. From our study I predict that the application of virtual and augmented reality is feasible in many aspects of business especially in marketing, business training and education, however, there are still a lot of qualities of virtual and augmented reality that limit its application, Perhaps in the future studies, the research can keep working in this field, to make VR and AR wide used in the business world.
