The information problem-solving process enhance students' information literacy through a systematic process, including defining issues, information search, obtaining information, using information, integrating information and appraisal information. The main purpose of this study was to examine the learning process and the effectiveness of information problem-solving in elementary school students. An interdisciplinary information problem-solving, social study, environmental education curriculum was implemented which emphasis on students' critical thinking and information search skills. Both quantitative and qualitative data was collected and analyzed by the researcher. The research results indicated that digital tools enhance students' self-learning ability, information problem-solving develop students' critical thinking, and multimedia e-books project improve students' creativity and expression ability. The conclusions of this study were as follows: (1) Students’ motivation on learning social study was significant improved by the interdisciplinary curriculum. (2) Information problem-solving process enhances students' critical and creative thinking (3) Multimedia e-books combined with information problem-solving process improve students' ability of communication, emotion express and presentation skills. (4) The influence of peers and the guidance of teachers on students' independent learning is obvious. (5) Scaffold structure provided by the teacher plays an important role in students' learning process of information problem-solving.
