The content will start from painting, followed by photographs and then ready-made objects. I adopted concepts of appropriation and deconstruction from Dadaism as well as Postmodernism to study my works, also refer to related artists including Mei Dean-E, Wu Mali, Sherrie Levine and Sarah Lucas, in order to interpret my own artwork at this phase. This writing will be divided into five chapters. In chapter I, “Introduction”. I’ll elaborate the study motivation referring ready-made objects, then analyze photography and ready-made objects, as well as the possibility of development from concepts of deconstruction and appropriation. In chapter II, “Stumbling and Context”. I’ll demonstrate in detail to present how I transformed from painting to photography, and from photography to ready-made objects creation. I’ll analyze the important transitions of each stage, as well as the connection and influencing factors of each stage. In chapter III, “Pondering and Execution”. I’ll present the way I learned from related art schools and theories during the phase of the transformation process. Based on concepts of Dadaism, together with appropriation and deconstruction of Postmodernism, I’ll explain the creative tactics and contents from the past to the present. In chapter IV, “Dismantling and Reorganization”. I’ll apply principles of disassembling and reorganizing to describe the idea of each work from the appropriation of materials, patterns, and objects that leading to the last work based on agriculture. In chapter V, “Conclusion”, I’ll integrate and review this study from painting, photography, ready-made objects to agriculture topic in order to make future prospects.
