碩士 === 臺北城市科技大學 === 資訊應用產業碩士專班 === 106 === The human society has been comprehensively influenced by the developments of computers and networking technologies.The Internet allows us to access information more , quickly and conveniently. Hevertheless, it also exposes our life and privacy to continuous harm and thus the protection of cyber personal data has been put under severe tests. The newly arising Internet-related crimes include phishing, pharming, APT (Advanced Persistent Threat)-email, malignant Trojan Horse programs, search engines and human flesh searching, which are primitive crimes.The other deriving crimes include telephone-delivered fraudulence and intimidation, the sale of personal data by employees (from companies), identity theft, and the inappropriate publishing of personal data by mass media. In 2010,the Personal Data Protection Law was passed in Taiwan and been legally en forced in 2012. It is worth researching whether the academies and the existing law practice areas in Taiwan are capable of coping with the new crimes against the integrity of personal data.
