Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 教育學系 === 106 === With the evolution of the times, the integration of instructional technology into teaching has become one of the common teaching methods in the field of education. In special education, the method can also have positive results in special students’ learning. The purpose of the study was to investigate the performance of the special education students using the instant response system integrated in Chinese language learning in a junior high school.Action research was adopted in this study. Six junior high school students in the special education class in north Taiwan were recruited. The study explored the instant response system – Kahoot!to enhance the learning performance and class participation of the students. There were 23 class meetings, in which Kahoot!was integrated with the duration of six weeks. The data were collected through graphs of the correct answer rate for each question, the compilation of teaching video recordings, the teacher's logs and individual students’ interviews to analyze the learning performance and learning participation. The results were as follows. The instant response system can enhance the students’performance immediately, but the performance condition cannot sustain. And the system can improve the students’ learning participation.Based on the research findings, future research on the interface and the presentation of the options for Chinese learners in instant response systems is recommended. In terms of teaching, the instant response system can also be applied to other subjects in the special education field and act as an effective learning tool to enhance effectiveness and motivation for learning.
