A good public transportation system is also one of reasons that bring country to become prosperous. Therefore, every countries is devote to innovation of public transportation. And high speed railway now is the way to develop. High speed railway, the newest mass transit, now start to be built in many country. Japan was the first country that started to use high speed railway. Nowadays, there are many countries already have this transportation system including France, Italy, Germany, Spain, United Kingdom, Belgium, Netherlands, United States, South Korea, China, Turkey, Russia and Taiwan. And high speed railway so far is the fastest land transportation. High speed railway is fast and can carry numerous passages. Now is one of the main public transportation in Taiwan. At first, Taiwan high speed railway was to solve heavy traffic problem in west Taiwan. There were only Taipei, Banqiao, Taoyuan, Hsinchu, Taichung, Chiayi, Tainan and Zuoying stations in the beginning. After they added Miaoli, Changhua and Yunlin stations’ program because of the government policies. To understand the performance of the newest stations, Miaoli, Changhua and Yunlin stations are the research targets. Using cluster analysis to group the stations by performance indicators, and see what’s the different between three new stations and the others stations. Then the study continue to research the effect of Miaoli, Changhua and Yunlin County population, and the impact of tourism industry due to the new stations construction.
