spelling ndltd-TW-106NTOU51920122019-06-27T05:28:50Z http://ndltd.ncl.edu.tw/handle/5v27vb Road Excavation and Underground Pipeline Management-A Case Study of Taipei City Road & Pipeline lnfomation Center 道路挖掘與管線埋設管理之研究-以臺北市道路管線暨資訊中心為例 Chiu, Yu-Sheng 邱宇盛 碩士 國立臺灣海洋大學 河海工程學系 106 Along with the domestic prosperous growth of economy, promotion of knowledge level in recent years, the people pursue for the quality of life is raising, for the demand of road are requested not only for use but also comfort, convenience, safety etc. However, when performing the road excavating operations such as new installation of pipeline, emergent repair and relocation as conforming to the policy of livelihood construction of each pipeline unit, the situations of the alligator cracking, sinking of road-bed or more severe potholes formation to reduce the intensity of original design of the road were caused by failing to comply with the construction specification on the spot of construction, inferior backfilling material used in pipeline and ditch or insufficient compaction of surface lamination, which gave impact on life of the people or brought about the loss of life or property in more serious cases. As it is very common to conduct road excavation in Taiwan, the issues how to maintain, manage and innovate in this field shall be highly valued. Next, the study aimed to analyze road excavating management process of Road & Pipeline Information Center (RPIC) and relevant materials of pipeline application cases to explore whether the establishment of RPIC can reduce the duplicate road paving and excavating and frequent road construction or nor. Moreover, it aimed to find out what processes can be made improvement or factors affecting the construction process by means of analyzing the process of road construction to propose suggestions. Besides, the professional accomplishment of road construction would be promoted and management system would be carried out for pipeline unit for the reference of handling road excavation to each county and city government in the future. Eventually, for the conclusion of this study, the significant effect on the road excavating management from RPIC is recognized and the situations of duplicate excavation and pavement damage is reduced for sure. Further, as taking the lead of Taipei government to push forward the license system of construction personnel and the reporting system application software of instant video, road construction quality can be promoted effectively with transparent and open information to control the construction process anytime. Therefore, the establishment of RPIC can bring the road management into full play certainly. The relevant suggestions proposed in the research will be helpful to make improvement on rehabilitation, management and maintenance of road excavation for road management unit and construction unit.
