| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 藝術與造形設計學系碩士班 === 107 === My Master Thesis is addressed as an artist statement focusing on the body of my studio practice, with the concept which underlining my memories from childhood to nowadays, by gathering the over lapping emotions of anger, confusions, and curiosity, and by exploring and researching the sources and solutions, conducting the dada and processing the thoughts through the art works and statement. The key word of the thesis “peek” situates my personal experience as a female artist to have a secret look at the private parts of my woman body, with the ambiguous feeling of curiosity and nervousness.
The main point of my studio work and the artist statement is not related to the perspective of feminism, but purely interacts with the mentality of a woman herself in order to face the reality and live positive in the coming days. Therefore, among my paintings, I adapt the items such as my figure parts, pomegranate and more to puzzling and exploring the ways of seeing my personal mentality as a woman myself.
The first three chapters are engaging in the dada within the theoretical based discussion, and the Forth Chapter is focus on the art practice and the concepts. I have started work on this project since 2018. Through the short period of developing process, I hope my master degree art project could continue going in the future and contribute reflecting the realities of social issues in many ways.
