The researcher was engaged in the whole process and found out the possible and suitable method to operate in Juvenile Correctional Institution by analyzing the Restorative Circle filming, personal per-interview and the interview after Restorative Circle discussion. The researcher will offer suggestions and opinions that are based on this study. The study was a small group discussion based on Restorative Practice that using Restorative Circle. The participants included four teenagers who study in Juvenile Correctional Institution and two non-students. During the experiment, the researcher would be the facilitator. Designing and managing the whole class, the facilitator which was researcher would apply Nonviolent Communication to lead those members followed the rules of restorative interaction discussion. In the consideration of initial Restorative Circle experience, the researcher utilized restorative skills first, and then devoted four steps of Nonviolent Communication: ”observation, feelings, requirement, and request” into every communication and sharing. Depended on the actual situation, the method would be adjusted. The experiment was conducted by the researcher twice a week in Juvenile Correctional Institution. Every discussion would last 60-90 minutes, and it summed up to 10 times. The experiment included the positive results like: showing the respect of other’s talking, sharing their feelings and thoughts, willing to consider ideas and opinion that are new or different to your own and connected to their own experiences. Through this talking and sharing, when some group members were feeling blue about something, others would be their supporters. Also, they would talk about problems that bothered them a lot and found the solutions together. Also, the facilitators had a good relationship with teenagers not only in Juvenile Correctional Institution but also when they leave the institution. The researcher learned that Restorative Circle and Nonviolent Communication could stabilize students’ mind and promote the quality of counseling relationship. And with that, the counseling and Restorative Circle could be connected together in order to have a better inspiration for students. On the other hand, the researcher depended on the current situation of Juvenile Correctional Institution that is hard to carry out the Restorative Circle in whole class or teacher-student relationship. However, the Restorative Circle could be conducted in a small-group discussion and by disinterested parties who have been trained. As for teacher-student Restorative Circle, it still needs the step by step development. SHEU, CHUEN-JIM 許春金 2018 學位論文 ; thesis 159 zh-TW
