This paper presents a new tapered-line power divider, an improved power divider with perfect port matching and isolation. The theoretical implementation of the tapered-line is a real improvement on the microwave circuit type power divider circuit, and achieve higher working bandwidth. According to the theory of impedance grading line, the exponential gradient impedance equation is first used to calculate the required segment impedance because the actual length and width are different for the corresponding impedance in different plate media and frequency. Therefore, we use the method of impedance gradient line applied to the microstrip line design, to discuss this paper before we first center frequency of 1GHz, the board material for the FR4 to design the length and width of the gradient line, then the same The one-half wavelength is divided into four parts: one is equal to the other, and The other is equal to the unequal distribution of the rectangular microstrip line and the trapezoidal microstrip line. Compared with the actual results, the good results will be realized in the circuit of the improved power divider .
