| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺中科技大學 === 多媒體設計系碩士班 === 106 === The Best Animation Feature of the Golden Horse Awards, the most important film ceremony in Taiwan, has been held for 47 years. However, there are only 15 animations won the titles throughout the history. This research gathers information about animation competitions in Taiwan and also the changes and the victors of the Best Animation Feature of the Golden Horse Awards. With statistics on and references to animation education in Taiwan, this research also provides comments and suggestions.
In 2016, the Golden Horse Awards established Best Short Feature Film, which allows short animation competes in the ceremony. To understand what features an animation needs, this research analyzes famous 2D short animations in recent years in Taiwan. “The Bear and the Flower” is also developed based on those famous 2D short animations. “The Bear and the Flower” is a 2D short animation starring Formosan Black Bear and Formosa Lily. It contains a simple touching story and Taiwanese local features, and is built with the internal functions of Adobe Photoshop.
