This thesis can be divided into two parts. Firstly, in order to overcome the shortages of the all-in-one water jacket, such as large flow resistance, poor heat dissipate performance and difficulties in manufacturing process, it introduces a new type of separated motor shell. The improved effect of it is verified by computation simulation. Secondly, according to the poor heat transfer efficiency from rotor to shell, it introduces a new way to improve the flow field inside motor. The internal flow field of the motor is improved by cutting some ducts through rotor lamination and above the shell, in order to achieve the "rotor ducts - cavity at the rear of motor - air duct above the motor shell - cavity at the front of motor - rotor ducts" flow circuit. Similarly, the improved effect of it is proved by simulation with CFD.
