By field observation, we compare that the building’s reconstruction, the damage of the building and the condition of the usage. We also analyze and clarify the process of construction and the feature of the building. As we can know from the research results, the Taiwan Governor Agriculture and Forestry College is a school for Taiwan’s agricultural technology improvement and research. The college provide lots of experimental data, experience and human resource development what gains the important achievement. The campus was divided into two parts, one is for teaching, the other is for interning. Teaching area is using for administration, teaching and experiment. Then, interning area is for operation, recording research and setting equipments. We can understand the development process of the campus by the building constructions’ sequence. The distribution of experimental fields has a corresponding relationship with the location of the farmhouse. From the architectural form, we can realize that the Japanese government use different architectural ingredients in different period. Such as the main building type is from wooden structure evolving into brick structure, as we also know that the designer would use different methods for adapting Taiwan climate. For example, raised up the floor of the building, drainage system and vent, etc. At the same time, it’s also reflect the building style of the period. For instance, the designer decorate the building in western way or use artificial stack. The Taiwan Governor Agriculture and Forestry College is an important role for the industry development but also show the special form of the buildings. Huey-Jiun Wang 王惠君 2018 學位論文 ; thesis 173 zh-TW
